Notes for SAMUEL DUNCAN:
Questionable Entry; There is a Samuel Duncan that claimed as a son of William Wirt Duncan on the 1895 Old Settler Payroll. I don't know for certain that this Samuel is the same as the Samuel Duncan that married Catherine Baldridge. Emmet Starr does not list a Samuel as one of the children for William Wirt Duncan so either Dr Starr was not aware that he existed or Samuel is an illegitimate child.
