Hubert Plemmons died at 6:45 PM Wednesday, May 7, 1958. He was a native of Madison County but had lived in Haywood County for 20 years. He was a Deacon of the Pleasant Balsam Baptist Church. He is survived by the widow Mrs Jay Murray Plemmons, son William J Plemmons, daughter Mary Evelyn Plemmons of Hendersonville, 7 brothers Bryan, Wilbur, and Dean of Hot Springs, Yates and Steve of Waynesville, Ben of Candler, Woodrow of Clyde, Lewis S. of Asheville, 6 sisters Mrs Raymond Price, Mrs Grace Gentry and Mrs Stewart Plemmons of Hot Springs, Mrs Floyd Parrott and Mrs Harley Gunter of Asheville, Mrs Monroe Webb, Sr of Waynesville, the mother Martha Justice Plemmons. Burial will be in the Plott Cemetery.
