      16. Charles Chat6 LeBlanc (Pierre5, Daniel4, Rene3, Alphonse2, Pierre1) was born September 26, 1716 in Port Royal Acadia, and died September 30, 1805 in Anse des -LeBlanc Acadia. He married Madeleine Girouard January 10, 1733/34 in Port Royal Acadia, daughter of Francois Girouard and Anne Bourgeois. She was born Abt. 1716 in Port Royal Acadia, and died June 08, 1805 in Anse des LeBlanc Acadia.

Notes for Charles Chat LeBlanc:
Charles LeBlanc & his wife Madeleine Girouard escaped deportation and fled toward Miramichi, New Brunswick . In the 1763 census of Annapolis , Charles LeBlanc's name heads the list of Acadians. With him were his wife & six children. He was still there in 1768 and in 1770 at abt the later date he went, with 2 of his married children to near by St Mary's Bay (Baie-St Marie) to settle at St Bernard in the County of Digby, "L Anse de LeBlanc" (LeBlanc's Cove) or simply "L Anse des Blancs" (White Cove)This is where he died , September 30 1805, at the age of 89. His wife had been buried June 8 of the same year, less then four months before. He was known there as "Chat" (pronounced Sha, probably from the three first letters of his name. Charles LeBlanc was the first great great grand father of the first Acadian Bishop Msgr. Edouard LeBlanc, Bishop of St John New Brunswick, from 1912 to 1935. Charles LeBlanc was the son of Pierre LeBlanc and Madeleine Bourque. Madeleine Bourque's parents were Francois Girouard & Anne Bourgeois.

      18. Rene6 Blanchard (Francoise5 Leblanc, Daniel4, Rene3, Alphonse2, Pierre1) was born Abt. 1677 in Port Royal Acadia. He married Anne Landry Abt. 1700 in Port Royal Acadia, daughter of Rene Landry and Marie Bernard. She was born Abt. 1684 in Port Royal Acadia.

She married (2) Pierre Pitre Richard Abt. 1751 in Port-Toulouse, son of Alexandre Richard and Isabelle Petitpas. He was born Abt. 1696, and died January 26, 1778 in Miquelon.

Notes for Pierre Louis Allain:
Pierre Allain settled at Grande Pre He married Marguerite LeBlanc 1717. He was likely a partnership,or employed by his brother in law, Nicholas Gauthier. After Pierre Louis death Marguerite went to St. Pierre Miqelon in 1766 with several of their children. He is presumed to have been a navigator like his father and he died at Brest during a voyage to France abt 1745
