| About Our Family Research |
|
So much to write and so little time. I collect tons of material relating to my family history and there are some fascinating historical articles, stories, records found on the internet, which mean something to each of us.
To study locations, journeys, old roads, geographical areas, where our elders traveled and learn the history of those places during their time is so very enlightening.
Every little piece of information is important in genealogy.

Several in our lineage, some served in the war and some shared food or supplies with the troops making them a "patriot" and all were recognized for their efforts in gaining our independence. So if one wanted to join the DAR or SAR, just prove lineage to that person, which is what cousin Jimmy and his daughter have done with grandpa Peter's military records.
