2. MYRICK² HOWARD (JAMES¹) was born October 12, 1783 in Wake County, NC, and died August 30, 1866 in Stanly County, NC. He married MILEA YATES December 01, 1803, daughter of WILLIAM YATES. She was born March 12, 1784, and died January 09, 1863 in Stanley County, NC.

Myrick and Milea are buried in the Harwards' family cemetery,Stanly County, NC. The Harward Burial Ground is located east of Oakboro,NC near the old Myrick Harwards' home place. Which is on a hill above Rocky River near Long Creek. Myrick was a member of a Baptist Church and Milea the Primitive Baptist Church.
