[Evans, Virginia.ged]

Called "Polly" as found in Poulson's American Daily Advertiser April 16, 1799 edition marriage announcement.
In 1811 at least, Mary had her mother-in-law Barbara (Shunk) Sweitzer, and brother Benjamin Kugler, living with her in the same building at the SW corner of Race & 4th Streets. Benjamin appears to have had his doctor's office there, and Mary and Barbara sold stationery and probably Henry's leftover books from his old printing shop and bookstore.
Frederick Sweitzer, tobacconist, Kugler's Court, as found in the 1811 Phila. Directory lived next to or very near Mary (Kugler) Sweitzer. (Kugler's Court came off the south side of Race St. at 4th. #128 to be specific. #126 was at the corner of 4th & Race. (Which was probably Mary's address.) It might have been Frederick's Sweitzer's wife who was named Mary and died in 1844 in this vicinity as found in the Phila. burial returns.

From LDS IGI Batch #8936205 Sheet 65, Mary Kugler born 4/13/1778 Phila. Parents: Charles & Catherine (Goodman) Kugler.

Mary's second marriage to Reverend Daniel Zeller of Tulpehocken, Berks County, is confirmed by the following evidence: Tombstones in Union Cemetery, Allentown, PA stating birth and death dates. Mary's proximity to her son Simon Sweitzer while living in Allentown with her second family. The GPS location of her grave is: 62-59-335E 083-62-086N Union Cemetery (West End Cemetery), Allentown, Pa.

Jim,
No the old records are not here. I guess people walked the cemetery and recorded some of the information and people that had relatives in the cemetery wrote in and they compiled a semi list. I really do not know exactly where they got them. I copied some of the information from the book that the Historic Society has and that is not even complete. I only copied that pages that had some of my family listing on and then I thought I would copy the rest of the information on the pages that I had and put the information on the interment.com. That is how they got on there.
As far as I know there is a new group taking over the care of the cemetery. It was getting pretty run down so people that have family buried there, started cutting the grass and uprighting tombstone, ect. and now they have a group trying to take care of the cemetery but I don't know who they are.
I do not know where they got the information that I got.
Sue
