When I was in library school, one of our classes visited the Indiana and Genealogy room at the Bloomington Public Library. At the time I did not understand "genealogy fever" or why anyone would be so interested in family history. Years later, I've found myself consumed with my family history, partially due to the fact that the families did not talk much about themselves and mostly due to having children of my own. My ancestors are far more interesting than I ever imagined. I feel the need to empower my children with a sense of who came before them, which makes them who they are today.
Family names included in the PAVLETICH line are: LEWKOWSKI, POPLAWSKI, SCHEFFKI, SZEWKA or SCHEFFKE, LESSNER GENER, VODNICA, FRITZ DOUCETTE, MUISE or MUSE, PAVLETICH or PAVOLETICH, VECERINA, HAYNES REYNOLDS, WHITMORE, STOWE, FLETCHER, INMAN, HUSTON, BARNES REXSTREW OR RAKESTRAW, JONES, BORTON, FOSTER, WYRON, WILKINS, MASON NICHOLS, FISHER, BROWN, GILBERT, PINKERTON
Many thanks to my numerous cousins who have helped me compile family information. These cousins include: Trish, Cheryl, Lisa, Ray, Wendy, Barbara, Serena, Dan, LaVergne, Mary, Valerie, Claudia, Walt and Rick. And a thank you to Sarah for finding records for me in Michigan.
