Notes for Bernard T. Jackson Jr.: Bernard T. Jackson Jr., is the oldest son of Alda & Bernard Jackson. As a child his nickname was Tommy. He was in two accidents that almost caused him to lose his life. He was a loner as a child, he had 1 younger brother who was call Brink and 3 sisters. He enjoyed reading his comic books as a child and didn't get into many trouble. All of his silblings thought he was loved the best, mostly because he received much more attention from our parents due to him almost dieing. We were an extremely close family even though we were poor, it never occurred to us that are parents were always struggling to take care of us. Our mother died when Bernard was 10 years old. Less than a year of us losing our mother we were taken away from our father and placed into foster homes. As a teenager Bernard and our brother Brink attended Boystown School for boys. Bernard graduated from Boystown and attended Iowa State University. He met a young lady at school (Beverly) and dated for a few years. He and Beverly had a daughter Deirdia born October 28, 1970. The relationship between he and Beverly did not last, and soon after he enlisted into The United States Navy. After being in the Navy for awhile he met Shelia, they dated and married. Twin boys were born January 24, 1988, Aldan and Kendal. Bernard and his family have traveled to many distant countries around the world. They have a strong reglious background believing in God Our Most High and Jesus Christ our Saviour. His sons attend high school now, his wife is a nurse, and Bernard is currently still in the Navy. They now resided in Jacksonville, North Carolina. Bernard, now has countless nieces and nephews, 3 sistes and 1 brother.
