!John landed in the area of Philadelphia in 1724 with two brothers, Nathaniel and Thomas. Fo ur other brothers landed around 1770. He married Mary Scott in Graceham, MD and settled in M anakesy (Monocacy), MD. He and Mary Scott are buried in Hope Moravian Cemetary near Clemons , SC. The Douthits are related to Daniel Boone who crossed Yadkin River, NC on the John Douth it ferry; and to the first white child born in KY and buried at Harrodsburg. The Douthits we re referred to as "Rolling Stones".
