I have managed to trace my family history back to my great great,great grandfather Hugh Kelly who married Alice Gillan somewhere in Donegal possibly Edenamoghil in the early 1800,s. They had a son James Kelly my great,great,grandfather he was born around about 1841 they also had at least 3 more sons Bernard,John and Patrick.James married Mary MacInulty daughter of James McNulty and Ellen Scott on 20th November 1864 at St Patrick,s R.C church Killygordon Donegal Ireland.He then moved to the Kilsyth Cumbernauld area of Scotland where my great-grandfather Hugh was born in 1865 they had 8 other children John 1871,MaryAnn 1873,Alice 1875,James 1877,Patrick 1881,Bernard 1885,Thomas 1887,Micheal 1891.Hugh married Mary Macevoy at St.Pats Kilsyth in1888 and they had 7 children James,Hugh,John,Bernard,Alice,Annie,Catherine.James was my grand-father he married Sarah Mulgrew in St Johns R.C church Uddingston on July 17th 1914.They had 9 children Sarah,Hugh.James,Lizzie,Mary,Pat,John,Brian,Arthur.Pat is my father he married my mother Rose Hernon on July 14 1941 in St Columbas R.C church Viewpark they had 6 children James(died 9/4/1951 at 15months old)Ellen,Sadie,Danny,James,Gerald.I am Danny I married Patricia Rooney in St Gabriels R.C church Viewpark 1st September 1979 we have 2 children Kevin and Claire and a grandson Sean who is the son of Claire and her ex partner Paul(Hamill)and a grandaughter Sophie who is the daughter of Claire and Andrew(Boynton)
