Notes for JOHANNES CASSEL:
Johannes and his brother, Yelles, grandchildren of Yelles Cassel the Mennonite preacher and poet, came to America on the ship Friendship from Rotterdam arriving on the 16th of October, 1727 and stayed with another brother, Hysert in Skippack , Montgomery County, Pa. for a short time. John moved to Lancaster County amd settled in the vicinity of Colombia in Henrysfield Township.
