David Klipfel - December 16, 1999
David Klipfel of Beulah passed away at Parkview Hospital Dec. 13, 1999. Born July 21, 1947, in Pueblo. David fought a courageous battle against cancer. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 18 years, Maxine Klipfel; a very special daughter, Michelle Marron, whom he loved very much; parents, Hugh and Anna Mae Klipfel; sister, Deanna Kirby; very special niece, Janelle Kirby; special in-laws, Rudy and Henrietta Salazar; brothers-in-law, Rudy and Robert Salazar; sister-in-law, Mary Salazar; future son-in-law, Fred Holderness; Ward (Saundra) Holderness; relatives, John (Nadene) Verna, Gus (Betty) Veltri, John Rusick, Marge Rusick, John and Fay Hadwiger; and friend, Orlando Sandoval. Dave had many special relatives and friends, too many to mention, and he cared for all. Dave worked for the Pueblo Board of Water Works for 33 years. Dave has many special friends who worked with him and special doctors who cared for him: Dr. Steven Nafziger, Dr. Paul Smith, Dr. Marlow Sloan and Father Mike DeSciose, chaplain at Parkview. Dave loved the outdoors, mountains, fishing, getting together with friends and especially being with his wife, Maxine. They were always together. Viewing, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Saturday, Imperial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Beulah Fire Department and Ambulance in his memory.
