Patricia Creel Kendrick of Moss Point and Brenda Waltman Knippers of Pascagoula, Miss. have been leading the way. Kendrick and Knippers have placed their photos on the MsGenWeb site.

To access these cemeteries and see the pictures, go http://www.usgenweb.com/ From there, go the counties and select Jackson County, then cemeteries.

The cemeteries they have added with partial headstone listings are Griffin Cemetery and Union Cemetery - Moss Point; Orange Grove Cemetery - Orange Grove; Jackson County Memorial and Machpelah - Pascagoula; Johnson's Cemetery - Wade; Lemaitre, Ferrill, Zion, Robinson cemeteries and Serene Memorial Gardens - Escatawpa; A history of the Ferrill and Lemaitre cemeteries, compiled by Harry McDonald, has also been posted on the site. Kendrick said Frances Smith, Rhonda Ray and Roger Mathieu are assisting in the photo project. Three Pascagoula cemeteries have also been posted by Anita Thomer.
