Notes for SARAH LANDERS: From Carroll Hayden: On the 25th day of January 1878, Sarah Landers deceased, in her last sickness, at her own habitation in Bedford County, after calling attention that she was dying, or could not live but a short time, declared in the presence of the undersigned that her will was as follows: That C. F. Haskins should have her Flower Pot quilt; that Sarah Landers, wife of her deceased brother Anderson, should have her Alpaca dress; that Alice C. Cooper should have her bed, a nice counterpane and a nice quilt; that Lula B. Cooper should have a nice counterpane and quilt; that Ella L. Cooper should have a nice counterpane and quilt; That Maggie M. Cooper should have a nice counterpane and quilt; that Janie Cooper should have a nice quilt; that J. B. Cooper should pay himself well for waiting upon and nursing her; and that the children of her deceased brother, Elijah should have the balance of her property should there be any.
