3. WILLIAM C.4 LAWSHE (JOHN3, ABRAHAM( VAN LAASCHET)2, JOHANNES JACOB1 VAN LAASCHET) was born March 29, 1788, and died 1865. He married SARAH.

Notes for WILLIAM C. LAWSHE:
From 1815 thru1847, William C. and Sarah, bought and sold land in the NE corner of Pulteney, Stuben Cty., N.Y. as follows:

1815- August 18----Bought 60 acres for $180.00 from Sir John Lowther
Johnstone's estate thru Administrator Robt. Troup. Sir John
lived in Dunfries, Scotland.

1820-June 13--------Bought 159 acres(less 41 acres), for $1,000.00 from John
and Abigail Kent.

1820-October 6-----Sold 60 acres for $700.00 to Abraham Brundage,Sr. of Bath

1822-October 4-----Sold 14-9/10 acres for $149.00 to Seba Norton.

1832-June 26------- Sold 24 acres 10 rods for $288.75 to Samuel A. Wallis.

1837-November 1-Bought 140-8/10 acres for $2,150.00 from Charity Wheaton

1837-November 1-Bought 79 acres for $1,955.00 from Samuel A. Wallis.

1847-June 11--------Sold 90-28/100 acres for $2,000.00 to Rev. John Wilson
Irvin of Danbury, CT.

With these transactions, some 209 acres belonging to William C. and Sarah,
are unaccounted for, as of June 1998. Above information abstracted from the
Grantor Records in the County Clerk's office,Bath, N.Y., and copies in
possession of William H. Lawshe, Jr.

March 5,1811 at the Town of Bath town meeting, in the Record of Road Lists
and Lease, William Lawshe was listed in Number 16.
