Clifford Kaye Hatfield (1883-1971) (Ancestor #14)

Clifford Kaye Hatfield was my great-grandfather, born to Abram Marsh and Margaret Reid (Short) Hatfield on 25 July 1883 in Arcadia, Nova Scotia, and died on 15 January 1971 in Bangor, Maine. He first married Bessie Rogers on 24 June 1901 in Arcadia, and they had three children; after she died in 1908, he married Olive Fleming Tolman on 14 January 1911 in Orrington, Maine, and they had two children. After moving to Maine and working his way to the top of the Eastern Fine Paper Mill in Bangor from 1902 to 1952, Clifford served as a representative from Orrington in the Maine legislature from 1956 to 1960. Clifford worked hard for the betterment of Orrington, where he spent most of his life.
