About Our Family Research

I am researching the ancestors and decendents of one Andreas Strittmatter of Strittmatt,Baden,Germany.Who with his wife Mary Agnes(Unknown maiden name??) and son Thomas immmigrated to these shores via the sailing vessel Xenophon, circa 1817 and settled in The Nittnay Valley of Pennsylvania. From there they spread across this new, untaimed land in all directions, adding more branches to our family tree as they followed the credo of the day "Live fruitful and multiply"!! If your family fits into our wierd little piece of this worldly puzzle, please feel free to add anything that you can!! FYI : We hold our version of the family reunion on the same day (1st Sunday in August), in the same spot (Millersylvania State Park,Maytown,Wa) rain or shine for over 50 years!! If you are interested in attending please send me us email w/ all your vitals and we will get ya all the details!!
