Jonathan Kimmel exemplified in character and achievement the sterling attributes which has significantly marked the familyof which he was a member and at the time of his death, he was the owner of a large and vauable farm estate in Rumpley Twp, the property being still in possession of the familyand the sons having pestige as leading exponents of farm industry in their native county.

He was influential in local affairs and served 20 years as trustee of Rumley Township.

Both he and his wife were active communicants of the Lutheran Church.
