Descendants of John Sapp

Generation No. 1

1. JOHN1 SAPP was born 1640 in Allegany Co., Maryland or England.

Notes for J
OHN SAPP:
Came to Maryland 1644-1650 with second load of settlers brought by Lord Calvert from England?

Tradition says came over from England in about 1650 with the second load of settlers brought by Lord Calvert to settle Maryland. There has been no record of passage to Maryland cira 1650 by John Sapp found. He may possibly be descended from Edward of Virginia and NC. The 1694 - 1696 census info shows only daughters and wife with Edward at that time. Where are the sons? Might they have moved North?

Children of J
OHN SAPP are:
2. i.   JOHN2 SAPP, b. 1672, Allegany Co., Maryland; d. Maryland.
ii.   WILLIAM SAPP, b. Kent Co., Delaware.
  Notes for WILLIAM SAPP:
William, son of John Sapp is reported to have gone down the Ohio and Mississippi rivers to New Orleans and from him probably sprang the Mississippi and Louisiana Sapps.

3. iii.   FREDERICK SAPP, b. Abt. 1668, Kent Co., Delaware.
