52. MARY8 SAPP (JAMES7, SAMUEL6, ROBERT5, BENJAMIN4, HENRY3, JOHN2, JOHN1) was born November 10, 1840, and died May 02, 1913. She married WILLIAM TAYLOR, JR. April 04, 1858 in Ashe County, North Carolina, son of WILLIAM TAYLOR and SUSAN FLETCHER. He was born October 23, 1838, and died January 04, 1930.

ARY SAPP:
Mary was a mid-wife. It is believed that she is buried in the Taylor Cenetery on Whindling Ridge with a field stone as a marker.

ILLIAM TAYLOR, JR.:
During the War Between the States, he was a corporal in Company A, 26 Regiment, North Carolina Troops and was wounded on July 1, 1863 at Gettysburg. In Ashe County, the resided on a farm on Little Horse Creek in the Apple Grove Community.

After Mary's death, William moved to Adair County where his children lived. He is buried in Cold Springs Cemetery in Casey County, Kentucky.

William Osborne was with Company E, 48th Infantry, North Carolina Troops during the War Between the States and was a farmer in Ashe County.

William and Sirena are Bruied in the Sapp Cemetery. Sarah Ann is buried in the Wesley Thompson Cemetery in Horse Creek Township.

John and Nancy moved to Custer County, Nebraska in 1885 along with the families of Nancy's brother, William F. Ashley and her sister, Elizabeth Ashley Roten. John dropped the "e" from his name after moving to Nebraska and his descendants spell the name "Osborn."
