I am researching the Bumber, Bromberek, Kozlowski, & Wesolowski families which immigrated from Poland and settled in Lemont, Cook, Illinois.
My grandparents were John Paul Bumber (1888-1946) and Stella Elizabeth Wesolowski (1892-1985).
John's parents were Joseph L. Bumber (1856-1924) and Stanislawa Bromberek (1871-1941).
Stella's parents were Stanley Wesolowski (1857-1936) and Mary Ann Kozlowski (1866-1929).
In addition, I'm trying to research my Madden & Riordan ancestors. Elizabeth Marie Riordan (daughter of John Riordan and Catherine Tracey) was born April 02, 1893 in Chicago, Illinois, and died October 08, 1969 in Little Company of Mary Hospital, Evergreen Park, Illinois. She married Martin Robert Madden January 15, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois (son of Robert Madden and Ellen Howe). He was born October 09, 1886 in Cooraclare, Co. Clare, Ireland, and died January 1972 in Lakewood, Ohio. They had 3 children: Bernadette, Robert, and Thomas. They got divorced just before Thomas was born and Martin moved from Illinois to Ohio. Martin then married a woman named Gertrude.
I've also recently discovered the names of Martin's brothers and sisters. They are:
