Came from Texas with family when he was 2 years old. Moved to Southern California - Rivera, which is now "Pico Rivera".

Per Aunt Eileen Falkenthal, lived in two story house, nice looking. They grew oranges, and lived in the orange groves. Uncle Charlie lived close to that, and lived in orange grove. He sprayed orange trees for a living. Auntie Pearl and her husband (he played ball for s.o.), lived in that area also. He was very rich, but lost most of his money by being a spendthrift. Lived near "Big House" had circular drive.

After high school, he and brother Charlie worked in grocery store. He saved money and put himself through college at USC. Graduated with a DDS May 28, 1907.

Dear Mr. Magill,

I have looked into our records regarding your grandfather's enrollment at
the USC School of Dentistry but unfortunately, at this time, there is very
little information remaining regarding your grandfather.

However, I am able to verify that your grandfather was admitted in 1904 to
the school (age 22) and graduated May 28, 1907.

I hope that some of this information is helpful to you and wish you much
success as you try to track your family history.

Thank you!
