William Magill (son of William Magill and Mary Eakin) was born 1715 in Near Belfast, Ireland, and died 28 Oct 1806 in Greene County, Tennessee. He married Jean Fowler on 1755.

William Magill, Jr. lived his early life in Rockingham Co, VA, moving to Greene Co, TN in his middle years and settling in Meadow Creek. This is where he spent his remaining years. In his will, dated 19 July, 1806, he provides a comfortable living for "My Dearly and Well Beloved Wife", Jean Magill. He lists household furnishings, cattle, a riding mare, and a Negro woman named Jude.

William MAGILL Jr., born about 1714 in VA, died in 28 October 1806 in Greene Co TN. He lived his early life in Rockingham Co VA, moving to Greene Co TN in his middle years. He settled on Meadow Creek where he spent his remaining years. In his will dated 19 July 1806, Will Book 1, page 151, Greene Co TN, he provides a comfortable living for "My dearly and well beloved wife", Jean MAGILL. He specified all household furniture, some cattle, his riding mare, and a Negro woman named Jude. Also mentioned in the will are sons: Samuel, William, James, Robert, John, Hugh, and Charles MAGILL and Elizabeth WALKER, my daughter, wife to Thomas WALKER.
