    Elmer Holsa Whaley is the son of Albert A. Whaley and Sally (Sallie) Jane Kelley. Elmer was b: October 17, 1863, m: August 28, 1911 to Mae Phila Grannis At the Bond Street Congregational Church in Ontario Canada. Elmer was a mail carrier from 1902 and served 28 years, 9 months 17 days and retured from the post office 8 October 1930.

    Mae Grannis is the daughter of Levi Grannis Jr. and Matilda Jane Colvin. Mae was b: 1 May 1882 Brant, Erie Co., New York, married Elmer Whaley August 28 1911 d: October 21 1970 in Columbus, Ohio. Mae graduated from the Angola High School in 1901 (See graduating program.) She went on to get her teacher's certificate to teach North Collins Free School District No. 4 of North Collins from September 1910 to June 1911 at $400.00 per year payable monthly. (See certificate dated April 12 1910). Mae also taught Pontiac Public School District No. 14 Evane, Erie Co., New York. (See graduation program dated 1905.)

    Charles Lester Lindsay b: May 14, 1890 d: November 1961. Hazel Atwood b: 1893 d: November 2 1960. Charles and Hazel lived in one of the five homes owned by Hazel's mother on Atwood Terrace, Columbus, Ohio. Atwood Terrace was named after the Atwood family. Their son Charles Portland Lindsay was b: September 7, 1911, m: Doris Mae Whaley in the fall of 1930 in North Collins, New York. He died January 21 1977 in Obetz, Ohio.

His father was Charles Lester Lindsay b: May 14, 1890 d: November 11, 1961, Mother was Hazel (Susie) Ruth Atwood b: 1893 d: November 2, 1960. Charles, nicknamed "Bus" married Doris Mae Whaley. He met Doris while his family was working in North Collins, New York building railroad trestles in North Collins and Jamestown, New York. They returned to Columbus, Ohio and raised a family of three, Richard, Phyllis and Sally.
