The letter is post marked, "Dec 18, 1918" from G. Guy Brikerstaff, Company 2, 161 st Infantry , A. P. O. 727, A. E. F. France" and addressed simply to "Miss Dova Greene, Paden, Mississippi" There isn't even a stamp on it. (I guess the army took care of that.)
Life was so much more simple then!
