    Tishomingo County Agricultural HS - Class of 1920, names are pretty easy to read. The reason my grandmother had this was because it has the name of Gertelle Guy Bickerstaff. My granny, Dova, was "jilted" by a Gertelle Guy Bickerstaff in the early 1900s.

    The letter is post marked, "Dec 18, 1918" from G. Guy Brikerstaff, Company 2, 161 st Infantry , A. P. O. 727, A. E. F. France" and addressed simply to "Miss Dova Greene, Paden, Mississippi" There isn't even a stamp on it. (I guess the army took care of that.) Life was so much more simple then!

He mentions a girl from Paden that he wanted to write but can't because, "you know how her popa is." Speaking of his brother, Reece, he says, "I don't guess they have many singings at highland since Reece and I left but just wait until we get back...I haven't heard from Reece in over four months..."
