4. GLADYS FAY4 WHEELER (MABEL MAY3 SMITH, NORA J.2 WILSON, EMORY1) was born December 28. She married (1) OLIVER JASPER WEAK, son of JASPER WEAK and EFFIE BALDOZIER. He was born February 14, 1912 in Hastings, Iowa (Mills County), and died June 16, 1997 in Joplin, Missouri (Newton County). She married (2) THOMAS MCKAY. He was born October 31, 1915 in Red Oak, Iowa, and died November 8, 1992 in Sun City, Arizona.

LIVER JASPER WEAK:
Oliver was a co-owner in a gas station, cafe in Ava Mo. with his in-laws. Moved to Iowa where he farmed for a while and then got on as maintenace man at the Murphy Calender Co. He worked there until he retired at the age of 71, at which time he moved to Joplin, Mo. to be with his son. He bought a house trailer at McCord Bend around 1980 where he lived for several years until health forced him to sell.

He died in the home of his son. His body was cremated and his ashes were dispersed on the James River at Horse Creek. A memorial service was held at the McCord Bend Baptist Church.
