This is the story of my family as I know it. The Pool's came from Tennessee into Conway Co. Arkansas. The Pool brothers then removed into Sequoyah Indian Territory, which later became Oklahoma. All three Pool brothers lived in Bonanza & Midland, Sebastian Co. AR off and on as well as Haskell & LeFlore Counties in Oklahoma between 1900 - 1920.

At the beginning of the Great Depression, the Spark Pool family "left for California" and a better life. The widow of Josh Pool & family removed to California mid 1930s. However, my Grandpa Frank and Grandma Willie stayed here in the Tri-State Mining District and raised my Dad and his siblings.
