I have been researching two families with much and would like some help.
The first is a Vier. John William Vier married Harriet Averell Preston in December 12, 1903. John William Vier born in American Fork,Utah about 1879-1889. John & Harriet had eight or eleven children. But, I have only eight children. 1. Dasie A. Vier, 2. John Barger Vier, 3. Count Woodrow Vier, 4. Ralph Richard Vier, 5. Charlie Vier, 6. Unknown Vier - Male, 7. Unknown Vier - Male, 8. Unknown Vier - Male. They were born in American Fork, Utah. If you have information on John William Vier or James William Vier or his parents, please let me know.
The Second family is a Preston. John Diamond Preston Married Sarah Whitford Forbes in February 21, 1795 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. Probadly, her real name was Sarah Whitford Dawson. I don't know for sure. John Diamond Preston born in 1761 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts. John & Sarah had two sons only. 1. Richard Preston, 2. John Diamond Preston as died a baby.
Richard Preston, son of John Diamond Preston & Sarah Whitford Forbes. Richard Preston married Mary Rand in unknown marriage date. Richard Preston born on November 16, 1795 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts. Richard & Mary had five children. 1. Richard Diamond Preston, 2. Mary Ann Preston, 3. Sarah Hindley Preston, 4. James Whitmore Preston,Sr., 5. Ebenezar R. Preston.
James Whitmore Preston,Sr., son of Richard Preston & Mary Rand. James Whitmore Preston,Sr. married Emeline Houston in March 2, 1851 in Nauvoo, Hancock County, Illinios. James Whitmore Preston,Sr. born on October 7, 1822 in Salem, Essex County, Massachusetts. James Whitmore Preston,Sr. & Emeline Houston had eleven children. 1. Theodosia Preston, 2. James Whitmore Preston,Jr., 3. Richard Bates Preston, 4. Emeline C. Preston, 5. Mary Ann Preston, 6. Isaac Houston Preston, 7. Washburn Chipman Preston, 8. William Augustus Preston, 9. Mindwell Preston, 10. Charles Henry Preston, 11. Harriet Averell Preston.
Harriet Averell Preston, daughter of James Whitmore Preston,Sr. & Emeline Houston. Harriet Averell Preston born on June 29, 1878 in American Fork, Utah. Harriet Averell Preston married John William Vier in December 12, 1903. Harriet Averell Preston was my great-grandmother and John William Vier was my great-grandfather also. "The Vier Family" is same as above. I haven't been able to find out anything about John Diamond Preston. If you have information please contact me.
