      3. Ralph R.3 Jackson (Ralph R.2, Patrick1) was born Abt. 1650 in Aberford, Yorkshire County, England, and died October 27, 1708 in Henrico Co., VA. He married Leah Williams Abt. 1678 in Charles City, VA1, daughter of William Williams. She was born Abt. 1654, and died 1726 in Henrico Co., VA.

Will probated 2/1/1709 and filed Sept. 1, 1709, Colonial Records, Henrico Co., 1706-1709, VA. p. 186, VA State Library.
Occupation: Cabinet maker/tobacco farmer.


Notes for Leah Williams:
Executrix of estate of Ralph Jackson. On September 10, 1710 Leah filed an account of the debtors and creditors of Ralph Jackson's estate. This account of Ralph Jackson's estate was presented to court by his wife Leah and was recorded September 3, 1711.

Leah married John Pattison before October 8, 1717, perhaps in Henrico County, VA. On that date she is named in her father's will as Leah Pattison. Leah's father, William Williams died in Prince George's County, VA and his inventory was returned October 8, 1717 by Charles Williams administrator. (Prince George's County, VA. Wills and Deeds 1713-1728).

Both Ralph and Leah are buried in the family graveyard near the Jackson homestead, called "The Cottage" in Amelia County, VA.
