Cole, in 1852 he married Eliza Ann Morton. they had two sons James R. Cole and Seth B. Cole. There was a fight between Daniel and Eliza and Daniel left. I believe this Daniel was my ggreatgrandfather also..he must of remarried in 1866. I know Eliza Ann Morton-Cole remarried in 1866 also. I am trying to find a divorce papers on him. I found census in 1870 and 1880 saying he was from Missouri and his father from Ky. mother from Va. I believe that my daniel and your daniel are the same man. My daniel b. 1830 Missouri married Eliza Ann Morton in Sept 1852, they had two sons James R. Cole b. 1855 and Seth B. Cole b. 1856. I have been told that Daniel and Eliza's father got into big fight and Daniel left after 1856 but before 1860. In the 1860 census Eliza is living with her mother with her two sons. She remarried in 1862 to Charles Sharp. I have found the cemetery where your (our) daniel was buried. and I have the census on him and Elizabeth McDowell also. I can send it all if you don't already have it. He is buried under Daniel Taylor Cole. Do you want me to send you what I have so you can study it and see what you think.
