I am researching McKenzie's, McVicars, MacPhedrans and Russells from Argyll. My ancestors lead back to the McKenzie's who were servants of the Marquis of Breadalbane and Duke of Argyll. I am interested in any information about my family and particularly the piping tradition that has grown within. The most famous piper being John Ban McKenzie.

I am also researching Stevens, Grainger, Ascom, Bolton, Welch, Cooper, Shepherd and Burton from the Southwark and Bermondsey parts of Surrey in the early 20th and 19th Centuries.
