Marriage Notes for H
ENRY MUSSER and MARY BURDETT:
Marriage announcement, Montgomery County Sentinel, dated November 3, 1882:

A Brilliant Wedding.--This Presbyterian Church at this place presented a very brilliant appearance on Wednesday evening of last week, the occasion being the marriage of Mr. H. M. Musser, son of our worthy Surveyor, and Miss M. E. Burdett, daughter of Wm. M. Burdett, Esq., both of this town, by the Rev. G. H. Gilmer, of Darnestown, Md.
Long before the hour appointed a large congregation of friends of the high contracting parties had assembled to witness the solemn and impressive ceremonies. The bridal couple advanced to the alter escorted by Mr. Jas. E. Williams, the bride dressed in a handsome suit of garnet silk and plush, while the groom was attired in black with much elegance and taste.
Miss Cora Williams presided at the organ and rendered in excellent style Mendelssohn's grand wedding march, the music of which thrilled the audience with delight and pleasure. The interior of the Church having been tastefully decorated with evergreens, presented a beautiful appearance while the ceremony, which was brief but very impressive, was being listened to by the relatives and friends who filled the house to overflowing.
After receiving numerous congratulations from their friends the bridal party drove to their new home, where a sumptuous repast awaited them. The bride will please accept our grateful acknowledgement for her valued service in the choir since it's organization and we offer our congratulations to the happy couple for a long and prosperous life.
A FRIEND
