ARTICLE I 1. "Survuve me" is to be construed to mean that the person referred to must survive me by thirty days. If the person referred to dies within thirty days of my death, the reference to him shall be construed as if he had failed to survive me. 2. Words which import one gender shall be applied to any gender where appropriate. ARTICLE II 1. I hereby make, constitute and appoint A. J. PETERSEN of Manassas, Virginia, as Executor of this my Last Will and Testament, and I request that there be no surety required on his bond. In the event he does not or cannot serve as Executor, then I appoint Helen C. I direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid out of my estate as soon as practicable after my death. If at my death, readily available cash and liquid assets are not sufficient to meet all of the specific bequests, it is my desire nevertheless that my Executor take such action as is necessary so that debts and other expenses as well as all taxes, inheritance and federal estate taxes and any and all other charges and expenses against my estate, be charged against and paid out of the residue of my estate. ARTICLE III 1. I devise and bequeath 2000 shares of Continental Telephone stock, and any and all motor vehicles I may own at the time of my death to Richard Eric PETERSEN, provided he survives me. 2. J. PETERSEN (also known as Alfred J. PETERSEN), provided he survives me. 7. I devise and bequeath the sum of $5,000.00 in cash to Grace Irene HARRIS, provided she survives me. 8. I hereby extinguish and relieve A. J. PETERSEN ( also known as Alfred J. PETERSEN) and his wife, Helen C. PETERSEN from any and all liability from my estate for any debts, notes, or bills due and owing to me at the time of my death. 9. All the rest, remainder and residue of my estate shall be divided into two equal shares.
