Updated June 4, 2009

About Our Family Research

I am a retired M Sgt from the USAF { 1947 - 1968 } and a retired School Teacher from Pulaski County., Georgia. I have through the CGGS published the City Cemetery { Orange Hill }., Hawkinsville., from { 1833 - 1992 and extracted obituaries from the Hawkinsville Dispatch from 1870 through 1888.
With the help of William "Jim" Carroll of Dewy Rose., Georgia and John Kirkpatrick of Cary., Georgia , I am in the process (research completed) of the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church History and Cemetery. Its been six (6) years of adding and corecting information on our love ones.
This church was constituted at Cool Spring., Laurens County., Georgia on Sunday 11 June 1809. We have throughly research this church and a professor at Mercer University has looked over our notes. You will note changes that occurred and documentation of those changes. We are in the final stages of compiling , retyping and indexing the book.
TWIGGS COUNTY RECORDS were all destroyed by General Sherman's Troops during the Civil War.
