William Albert Cowell
b. 12/31/1917 in Newport, Arkansas
d. 01/17/1978 in Temple, Texas
m. 05/18/1940 in Galveston, Texas to Dorcas Jacqueline Wandless

Father is Albert Cowell b. 11/1877 in Tennessee
Mother is Anna Elizabeth Farmer b. 3/1882 in Clarksville,Arkansas

Mother is believed to have been Native American possibly Cherokee as there were two other sons (Carl and Earl) born in Oklahoma on the Cherokee Nation reservation. There is believed to be another (fourth) son although I have no information on him.
