4. SUSAN³ HUGHES (PATRICK², OWEN¹) was born 05 November 1864 in Dalhouise Lake, Stoco, Ontario, Canada, and died 21 November 1912 in St Timothy's Catholic Cemetery, Manvel, Grand Forks County, ND ³. She married PASCAL BUSHAW³ 09 January 1882 in St John's R.C. Church, Perth Ontario ⁴, son of HENRI BEAUCHAMP and ELIZABETH FERGUSON.

Notes for PASCAL BUSHAW:
Pascal Bushaw Jr. was the sixth child of thirteen children born to Pascal Bushaw and his wife Eliza Ferguson Bushaw. As a young man he emigrated to the Red River Valley of the Dakota Territory along with his parents, brothers and sisters. He took up land in Grand Forks County near the confluence of the Turtle River and the Red Rivers.
In 1912 Pascal Jr. was married to Susan Hughes.
In 1893 Typhoid fever swept through the Valley and Pascal Bushaw Jr died along with his brothers Isadore and Owen

Notes for PATRICK BUSHAW:
By the time Patrick was 18 years of age he had his own acreage in the Turtle River Township where he lived alone and was head of his own household. His widowed mother, Susan, lived nearby with his younger siblings.
