Marriage Notes for Henry Mauritson and Margaret Olson:
Lilly Mauritson & Olga Olson grew up together as friends living around the corner from each other. Henry Mauritson met Margaret Olson in the early 1920s - likely 1921 or 1922 - in the winter.

They met at Longfellow Gardens skating rink. Henry first said to Margaret, "If you go skating, I'll skate with you." The rest was history.

The Mauritsons lived on Nawadaha Blvd. across the street from Minnehaha Park. Olsons lived at 4640 42nd Ave. So. Nawadaha runs East-West & Intersects Minnehaha Ave. one block east of 42nd Ave So. The intersection is about 1/2 mile west of the Mississippi River and about 3 miles north of the airport.
