Marshall F. Wade married Alminer Kansas Tannehill Jan 15, 1891 he was 36 and she 19, After Alminer became pregnant, he committed suicide by jumping into the spring and he tried to pull her in with him Mammoth Springs , Ark.
Marshall Wade worked in a Saloon in Mammoth Springs Ark. he and his brother Wallace drove an oxcart of freight and groceries fromVicksburg to Jonesboro, part of the old ox trail can still be seen along Crowleys Ridge:The Old Ridge Road . it took one week to make the trip
