Stanford, of Memphis, dated May 13, 1996 said that his forebears came from England to the Eastern Shore of Maryland in 1683 with three brothers sons, Jonathan, James and Robert. Enclosed in the letter was HENRY KING STANFORD GENEALOGY. Items mentioning Jonathan, extracted as follows\
