Anderson - Elijah's mother
was Lavinia Brack.
Elijah's father appears to
have been Elmore Anderson, son of Edmond and
all three names received
land grants in Georgia for their service in the American
Revolution. Some
researchers believe they were born in Cherokee Nation
North
Carolina.
Seaborn was the father of
Nancy Jane Anderson Bozeman and her mother
was Lavinia Jane Sellers.
Seaborn's Aunt Elizabeth Anderson married Alfred
Sellers who was an Uncle to
Lavinia Jane.
The Sellers were also of
Cherokee Blood.

Cecil Earl Fenn
Carter married Alice Emma McClain,
the great granddaughter of Nancy Jane Anderson
Bozeman. Alice was born in Montgomery and Cecil
was born to Anna Stone and
William Franklin Fenn in Thompson Station,
Bullock County
Alabama.
Alice was the daughter of
Lorena Emma Bozeman and Charles Allen
McClain. Parents of
Charles were Elizabeth Broadway and Josiah Marion
McClain.
Parents of Lorena were Alice
Lorena Stephens ( daughter of Joe ) and John
Thomas Bozeman.
Ironically the parents of
Elizabeth Broadway McClain were Mary Susan
Stephens and Abner
Broadway.
Lorena Bozeman McClain's son
Joe married Georgia Lou Broadway.
The Stephens descend from a
John Stephens of North Carolina, another
Colonial Soldier who married
a full blood Cherokee.
The Bozemans came from North
Carolina 1700s history.
Many census records and land
documents are posted within my webpages,
along with military
records.
Many of these families had
settled in the Montgomery County area, some
along the Meriweather Trail
in Dublin and Ramer, Pine Level, some in Hope
Hull. Pike County, the town
of Troy, was within a few miles and some were
found there in early census
records. There was a train station in Ramer and
one in downtown Montgomery by
the river.
