| About Our Family Research |
|
The Parnell Family migrated from Virginia to North Carolina to Humphreys County, Tennessee, and eventually settled in Perry County. Even though, there are facts not completely proven, it appears that Archa Parnell is a descendant of Henry Parnell, Sr. (b. Abt. 1730) who moved from Virginia to Johnston County, North Carolina. His son, Henry Parnell, Jr. (b. 1770) moved from Johnston County, North Carolina to the Blue Creek Community in Humphreys County, Tennessee. Henry Parnell, Jr. had a son, Archa, who move to Perry County and reared his family.
