Notes for Karl Erland Erickson: Karl Erland moved to Valbo on June 6, 1904. Valbo bordered Gavle on the south and west until 1971 when it became part of Gavle. Karl lived at Hemlingby (in Valbo) in a house called Sjotorpet where he was a tenant holder and farmer. Karl married Agnes Sofia Hudin on December 22, 1906 in a small parrish southwest of Ostervala called Huddunge. Karl and his wife and son Carl Eric moved to Gavle in1914 where he took up his father's trad as a carrier (they probably used lorries and a few horses). They lived in Ockelbo for a short time in 1924 before moving back to Gavle in 1926. Karl Erland diedon December 3, 1933 in Sorby (southern Gavle). After his death, Agnes and Carl Eric moved to Valbo andin 1938 they moved to Sodertalje (near Stockholm) where Carl (still unmarried) was known as a businessman.
