In the name of God Amen, I, Adam Wise of Hardin County do make this my last will and Testament as follows: first I recommend my soul to God who gave it, trusting that He will deal with me as best suits His compassion and mercy - And as to what estate I am possessed of, I dispose of it as follows: First, I give to my son Elisha Wise, on bed and furniture and 'tis my wish and desire that my wife, Susanna Wise should have a reasonable (support) on the place during her life.
Second, I give to my two sone, Willis Wise and Gabriel Wise, all my estate after what is taken out shall hereafter be mentioned.
Third, there is 10 acres of land where Thomas H. Wise now lives which was laid out for the Tan Yard which is laid off to Henry Wise and Thomas H. Wise which was given to them to fix the Tan Yard on which the estate has no claim.
Fourth, I give to Mary Melvina French a good saddle and a bed and furniture, to be given to her, when she arrives at the age of 16 years, by my Executors.
Fifth, Also that my sons, Willis Wise and Gabriel Wise shall find a home and a reasonable support; for my son Ignatius Wise during his life; as well as a home and support for my wife, Susanna Wise during her life - then all the balance of my whole estate to my sons Willis Wise and Gabriel Wise.
Sixth, I give to son Thomas H. Wise, one dollar and to my daughter, Elezabeth French, one dollar and to my daughter Matilda Brewer, wife of John Brewer, one dollar. And to my son Henry Wise, one dollar.
I appoint my sons, Willis Wise and Gabriel Wise, Executors to this my last Will and Testament.

In the name of God Amen. I, William Bryan of the County of Hardin and the State of Kentucky, being sick and weak in body but of sound and disposing mind and memory for which I thank God, and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life and being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to bless me with, I give and bequeath the same in manner following, that is to say after my just debts and funeral expense is paid, I give to Elizabeth French, wife of Martin, one dollar. I give to Matilda Brewer wife of John Brewer, fifty cents. I give to Matilda Spinks fifty cents. I give to Nelly Medley, wife of John B. Medley, fifty cents. I five dollars for finishing Clear Creek Chapel and fifteen dollars for my benefit of church. Twenty five cents to Matilda Wise, daughter of Thomas W. Wise. Then I give and bequeath to my sister Ann Price, all the balance of my estate, both money and property for her benefit during her life and after her decease, I give the same of Ann Price, to William Price, son of Ignatius Price. This being my last will and testament revoking a former will, given under my hand and seal this 19th day of April, 1834, in the presence of the undersigned witnesses.
