Gum Log, Arkansas was an area, never a town and now it is one word. There is a Gumlog township which has existed prior to 1860. There is a road marker about 2 miles northeast of Russellville on State Highway 124 that has "Gumlog" on it designating a rural community. (Milton C. Tucker, Dover Arkansas, correspondence)
