I was in search of some information on my grandfathers family. Here is what I have on him. Walter George Penney Born: October 14 1889 Born in: Sunnyside Nfld. Died: Feburary 9, 1980 Calais Maine Son of William Penney and Maria (Cosh) Penney He was suvived by a sister Josephine Reed of Sunnyside,Nfld.
He also joined the Candian Navy when he was 12. Lied about his age and claimed he was 14 to get in. He married my grandmother Ruby Cochran of Maine USA. My history stopped at him. William Penney his father and Maria (Cosh) his mother I have no information on. I am not sure if this information is linked to yours but I thought I would email you and see what you thought. You may want to know who I am as well I am Walter Penney's granddaughter or should I say one of about 30. My name is Dona Penney daughter of Donald Walter Penney.
