John Wendel Hallman born abt 1710, Germany, married (1) unknown, and (2) to Christing Henning. John died aft 1810 in South Carolina. John Wendel Hallman was first officially recorded on a deed of land has being n South Carolina on June 13, 1753. However, he probably arrived in America as early as 1730. His land was on a branch of Grimm's Creek, soon known as Hallman's Mill Creek. John Wendel was a miller, as was his brother Andrew
