Notes for Albert Wayne Little: Uncle Albert and daddy started a tape and label business together in Houston. The name was Central Tape and Label. Now it is the second largest tape and label business in Houston. Johnny and I sold our part to Uncle Albert when daddy died. He is a wonderful, church going man. He was burned as a child and had to go to the Shriner's hospital. Granny was boiling water in a big pot and he fell over backwards into the water. He still carries the scars from the burns. |

Notes for Ernest "Pete" Little: Uncle "Pete" as we call him used to sing and play in the bands. He has made a couple of records which mother still has at her house. He could sing and play guitar really well. |

Notes for Katherine Winifred Krause: This is the person I know as my "memaw". I can honestly say that I always knew my memaw loved me at even the worst times in my life. She used to work for Folger's Coffee Company in Houston, but after she married grandaddy (Cecil) she never had to work another day in her life. He took care of her like he always promised. She was a true lady. Tiny, frail, and dainty. Always concerned about her hair, her makeup, her looks. If I had to go somewhere she was always willing to ride with me to keep me from driving alone. She never wanted me to have to go somewhere alone in case something should happen. She used to love to go shopping until the claudication began in her legs. She still loves to shop, but has problems even after her leg surgery. She cannot walk very far without pain in her legs. We now have a handicapped sticker just for her. I always thought she was frail and weak until I saw her go through the triple by-pass surgery. Now, I know she is just as strong as my Grandma Krause, her mother. Memaw was in her eighties when she went through the by-pass surgery. She came out wonderful. Know I know just how stong my genes really are. She is a wonderful support to me and to Brandon. She loves us all more than she will ever be able to put into words, and we love her just as much. |
