NSDAR application of membership, national number 266826, REFN: 132, "The name Gasper Everly (or Casper) is mentioned in the report of 1812 Manuscripts in the Virginia State Library at Richmond, VA., in regard to Revolutionary Service of Virginia Soldiers by Eckenrode, page 39. He served 131 days and received 12 pounds, 16 shillings and 6 pence. As will be shown in a Manuscript Book on file in the Archives Department of said Virginia State Library, known as PITTS which is the payroll of those soldiers of Virginia line who received their pay at Pittsburg. The name of Gasper Everly appears on the roll of Captain Scott, as will be shown from a certificate made by Mrs. E.L. Gibson, on the 21st day of Novermber 1929."
10. Simeon O Everly, "Casper Everly migrated to the Cumberland, Maryland area where he met andmarried Sarah. Her maiden name is unknown.Casper and Sarah later resided in the part of Monongalia County Viginia that is now West Viginina. He furnished supplies for the Continental Army. (See Public Records, Richmond Va.,Misc records book 33, p.127;Patriotic Index, p. 225.)."
