(Formerly Barbara Craddock Pike)
I became interested in my family history quite by chance; in October 1999, a box containing old photos & obits fell off a shelf at my sister's. While picking them up, I decided to write down the names, & when I went home, I typed "genealogy" into a search engine. I was off! That first night I found an old query about a man with the same name as my great great grandfather. I responded, and the next day, I was contacted by my first "new-found cousin". I was hooked!
In the months since then, my "new cousin", Betty Wingo, and I have worked very hard, finding the descendants of our great great grandfather, Peyton Graves Parker. We have not yet found his parents or siblings or birthplace. My Parker line was the first line I started working on, and quickly started working on my Wood line. I expanded to my Lindsey's, then the Craddock's, and then my Baskin and Mann ancestors.
I am sure my work contains mistakes, as I have obtained a lot of information from the web, without verifying its accuracy. Whenever possible, I have followed up, and gotten more documentation.
Welcome to my family pages. If you recognize any of these people, please e-mail me. If you notice any mistakes, please send me the corrections. If you have any additional information, please let me know! I'm always looking for new cousins!

- Descendants of Peyton Graves Parker (201 KB)
These are the first 5 generations of Peyton Parker's descendants. Information about living individuals has been withheld.
- John Learwood Descendants (242 KB)
My earliest known "Wood" ancestor is John Learwood. He and Hannah Stovall May have had more children, but John Edmond, born about 1720, is the only one I have information on.
- William Baskin Descendants (7 generations) (93 KB)
William & Mary Stuart Baskin hailed from Ireland. Their grandson, William C. Baskin, is the one responsible for the Baskin name in Harmony and Clarksville, Johnson Co., Arkansas. That is where my grandfather, Chester Davis Baskin, was born, and the bulk of my Baskin information is on the Arkansas Baskins.
- Cain Mann, father of Joel Mann (1773-1844) (68 KB)
My Mann line is probably my "skimpiest". My Mother used to love to say "My Mother was a Mann before she got married"...(ha ha!).
- Edmund Craddock Descendants (358 KB)
I believe that Edmund Craddock was the son of William Craddock (1714-1796) and his second wife, Hannah Harper, of Amelia Co., VA. William's first wife was Mary Cross, and he is reported to have had about 16 children with his 2 wives. There is much conflicting data out there about these Craddock's, and until I have been able to research them further, I have not included them.
- Descendants of David Lindsey (5 generations) (465 KB)
David Lindsey was a Revolutionary War Soldier. The Montevallo, Alabama chapter of the DAR is named after him.
